My name is Elizabeth, and I am a 24 year old trans woman, nearly a year on hormones, aspie and unabashed geek! I was feeling sentimental the other day and made this before and after picture, which I want to share with you all. On the left is me in 2010, still repressing what would become so clear later, and on the right is me at about 10 months on hormones. This journey has been trying sometimes, but I don’t regret it for a second. I never thought I would get here, but I am finally starting to feel like myself and “right” in my own skin. Thank you FYCTC for being a huge source of inspiration for me while I was closeted, I thank everyone who has submitted here and proved to me that transition is possible, and to help me combat my internalized bullshit. All you awesome women continue to be an inspiration, keep doing your thing!
Much love, solidarity and support
